Hudson Realty Capital is looking to add FHA/HUD Originators to our growing team. The candidate will be expected to prospect potential loans, structure loans, perform credit analysis and due diligence, and assist with application processing and loan closing. They will also be responsible for establishing a market presence and for the development and maintenance of a referral network that generates a pipeline of new loan

In this role you will:

• Identify and evaluate FHA/HUD and bridge loan financing opportunities
• Develop and maintain knowledge of loan products and provides market intelligence to maintain competitive advantage
• Leverage existing contacts and prospect for new borrower relationships to build a sustainable book of business of potential financing opportunities
• Structure multifamily, healthcare, and commercial mortgage loans through our wide array of lending products
• Complete initial loan reviews to determine project feasibility based on credit parameters of the applicable loan program
• Successfully guide borrower clients from commitment through underwriting to closing of the loan
• Coordinate the FHA/HUD mortgage loan process with internal team members
• Participate in professional organizations to gain visibility
• Provide innovative strategic financing alternatives for the firm’s current and prospective clients

Preferred Qualifications::

• Minimum four (4) years prior experience in commercial lending
• Proven track record in originating FHA/HUD and/or bridge loan financing opportunities for multifamily apartments, affordable housing projects, senior living communities, skilled nursing facilities, or hospitals 
• Ability to meet and exceed business development objectives 
• Strong existing client relationships
• Must be able to apply independent judgment to get market traction and win transactions based on the company’s product competitive advantages
• Must have exceptionally strong organizational skills, be detail-oriented, and have an ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with an ability to comprehend complex projects 
• A career-motivated professional who is self-confident, energetic, and possesses a superb work ethic
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills 
• Can successfully work both independently, as well as within a team
• Must be willing to travel when necessary
